Journey of Arun Shrivastava
Born on 29th August 1960 in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, a city renowned for its spiritual significance and cultural heritage. My parents, both teachers, instilled in me the values of education, compassion, and justice from an early age. Growing up amidst the ghats and temples of Varanasi, I imbibed a deep appreciation for diversity and community.
My family relocated to Bhopal when I was a young boy, and it was here that my journey towards advocacy and justice truly began. I received my schooling in Bhopal, where the rich tapestry of cultures and languages shaped my worldview. It was during these formative years that I developed a keen interest in social issues and the workings of the legal system with Youth Congress.
After completing my schooling, I embarked on a journey of higher education at Motilal Vigyan Mahavidyalaya in Bhopal. Immersed in the academic environment, I pursued a Master's degree in Law, honing my skills and knowledge in the field of advocacy. MVM, Safiya College and Career College ( Barkatullah University) provided not only a robust academic foundation but also opportunities for practical experience and engagement with real-world legal challenges.
In 1985, I made a conscious decision to align myself with the Indian National Congress, a political party whose values and principles resonated deeply with my own. Joining the Congress marked the beginning of my active involvement in political advocacy and community service. I saw in the Congress a platform through which I could effect meaningful change and contribute to the betterment of society.
Over the years, I have dedicated myself wholeheartedly to the cause of justice and social welfare. Through my work with the Congress, I have had the privilege of representing the interests of my fellow citizens, advocating for policies and initiatives that promote equality, justice, and progress. Whether it's fighting for the rights of marginalized communities, championing environmental conservation, or working towards economic empowerment, I have always strived to be a voice for the people.
My journey with the Indian National Congress has been one of growth, learning, and leadership. From grassroots activism to assuming leadership roles within the party, I have continually sought to serve with integrity and dedication. Currently, I have the honour of serving as the District Congress President, a position that allows me to spearhead initiatives, mobilize support, and effect positive change at the local level.
As I reflect on my journey thus far, I am filled with gratitude for the opportunities and experiences that have shaped me. Looking ahead, my vision is one of a more just, equitable, and inclusive society. I remain committed to the ideals of the Indian National Congress and will continue to work tirelessly towards building a better tomorrow for generations to come.
The Journey Continues
My journey as an advocate, leader, and champion of justice is far from over. With each passing day, I am reminded of the immense responsibility we bear towards our fellow human beings and the world we inhabit. As I continue to walk this path, I do so with unwavering determination, guided by the belief that together, we can create a brighter, more compassionate future for all.

From a young age, I found myself drawn to the fields, eager to join my family in the timeless dance of farming. Tilling the earth, sowing seeds, and nurturing crops became more than just chores; they became acts of love and devotion. With each passing season, my passion for agriculture grew, fuelled by the satisfaction of witnessing life emerge from the fertile earth.
As I worked alongside my parents and grandparents, I gleaned invaluable lessons from the land. I learned patience from the steady growth of crops, resilience from weathering storms and droughts, and humility from the unpredictability of nature. These experiences instilled in me a profound respect for the interconnectedness of all living things and a deep-seated belief in the importance of stewardship and sustainability.
Inspired by my experiences as a farmer and fuelled by a desire to create positive change, I began to advocate for the rights and welfare of rural communities. I witnessed first-hand the challenges faced by farmers – from land degradation to lack of access to resources – and became determined to be a voice for the voiceless. Through grassroots organizing, community empowerment, and advocacy efforts, I sought to address systemic injustices and promote sustainable agricultural practices.
My journey as an advocate for rural communities led me to engage with policymakers, activists, and fellow farmers. I participated in rallies, lobbied for policy reforms, and shared my knowledge and experiences with others. Whether it was advocating for land rights, championing sustainable farming techniques, or raising awareness about the plight of smallholder farmers, I was driven by a deep sense of purpose and a commitment to social justice.
Looking ahead, my vision is one of a future where all farmers have access to the resources, support, and opportunities they need to thrive. A future where the land is stewarded with care and respect, and rural communities are empowered to lead lives of dignity and prosperity. As I continue to sow seeds of hope and advocate for change, I do so with a deep sense of gratitude for the land that sustains us and the people who work it.
अरुण श्रीवास्तव का सफर
अरुण श्रीवास्तव का जन्म 29 अगस्त 1960 को अपने आध्यात्मिक महत्व और सांस्कृतिक विरासत के लिए प्रसिद्ध उत्तर प्रदेश के वाराणसी में हुआ ।बचपन से ही जीवन मूल्यों और बड़ों का सम्मान ,करुणा और न्याय की शिक्षा माता-पिता से मिली। वाराणसी के घाटों और मंदिरों के बीच बड़े होते हुए, मानवीय संवेदना और जीवन के सिद्धांत के साथ भारतीय आध्यात्मिक और सांस्कृतिक गहराई को नजदीक से समझने का अवसर मिला। बाल्यकाल वाराणसी में गुजारने के बाद परिवार भोपाल आ गया और यहाँ से सही मायने में अरुण श्रीवास्तव की जो यात्रा प्रारम्भ हुई उसने वकालत और न्याय की दिशा में आगे बढ़ाया। स्कूली शिक्षा भोपाल में प्राप्त की, जहाँ संस्कृतियों और भाषाओं की समृद्ध विरासत ने विश्वदृष्टिकोण को आकार दिया। इन प्रारंभिक वर्षों के दौरान ही युवा कांग्रेस के साथ सामाजिक मुद्दों और कानूनी प्रणाली के कामकाज में गहरी रुचि विकसित हुई।स्कूली शिक्षा पूरी करने के बाद, भोपाल के मोतीलाल विज्ञान महाविद्यालय में उच्च शिक्षा प्राप्त की । शैक्षणिक माहौल में डूबकर, वकालत के क्षेत्र में अपने कौशल और ज्ञान को निखारते हुए कानून में मास्टर डिग्री हासिल की। एमवीएम, सैफिया कॉलेज और कैरियर कॉलेज (बरकतुल्लाह विश्वविद्यालय) ने न केवल एक मजबूत शैक्षणिक आधार प्रदान किया, बल्कि वास्तविक दुनिया की कानूनी चुनौतियों के साथ व्यावहारिक अनुभव और जुड़ाव के अवसर भी प्रदान किए।
अरुण श्रीवास्तव ने 1985 में भारतीय राष्ट्रीय कांग्रेस के साथ जुड़ने का और समाज और राष्ट्र सेवा के लिए राजनीति में शामिल होने का निर्णय लिया, भारतीय राष्ट्रीय कांग्रेस एक राजनीतिक दल के रूप जिसके मूल्य और सिद्धांत अरुण श्रीवास्तव के मूल्यों और सिद्धांतों से गहराई से मेल खाते थे। कांग्रेस में शामिल होने से राजनीतिक वकालत और सामुदायिक सेवा में सक्रिय भागीदारी की शुरुआत हुई। कांग्रेस राजनैतिक दल के रूप में एक ऐसा मंच जिसके माध्यम से अरुण श्रीवास्तव को एहसास हुआ कि इससे सार्थक बदलाव ला सकता था और समाज की भलाई में योगदान दे सकता था।कांग्रेस से जुड़ने के साथ ही न्याय और सामाजिक कल्याण के लिए खुद को पूरे दिल से समर्पित कर दिया । कांग्रेस के साथ अपने काम के माध्यम से, उन्हें साथी नागरिकों के हितों का प्रतिनिधित्व करने, समानता, न्याय और प्रगति को बढ़ावा देने वाली नीतियों और पहलों की वकालत करने का सौभाग्य मिला है। फिर चाहे वह हाशिए पर रहने वाले लोगों के अधिकारों के लिए लड़ना हो, पर्यावरण संरक्षण की वकालत करना हो, या आर्थिक सशक्तिकरण की दिशा में काम करना हो,हमेशा लोगों की आवाज़ बनने का प्रयास किया ।
भारतीय राष्ट्रीय कांग्रेस के साथ अरुण श्रीवास्तव की यात्रा विकास, सीखने और नेतृत्व की रही है। जमीनी स्तर पर सक्रियता से लेकर पार्टी के भीतर नेतृत्व की भूमिका निभाने तक, लगातार ईमानदारी और समर्पण के साथ सेवा करने की कोशिश अरुण श्रीवास्तव की रही है। वर्तमान में, जिला कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष (ग्रामीण )के रूप में पहल का नेतृत्व करने, समर्थन जुटाने और स्थानीय स्तर पर सकारात्मक बदलाव लाने मौका मिला।
अरुण श्रीवास्तव के मुताबिक जैसे ही मैं अपनी अब तक की यात्रा पर विचार करता हूं, मैं उन अवसरों और अनुभवों के प्रति कृतज्ञता से भर जाता हूं जिन्होंने मुझे आकार दिया है। आगे देखते हुए, मेरी दृष्टि अधिक न्यायसंगत और समावेशी समाज की है। मैं भारतीय राष्ट्रीय कांग्रेस के आदर्शों के प्रति प्रतिबद्ध हूं और आने वाली पीढ़ियों के लिए बेहतर कल के निर्माण के लिए अथक प्रयास करता रहूंगा।
संघर्ष, समर्पण सद्भाव की यात्रा जारी है
एक वकील, नेता और न्यायविद के रूप में यात्रा अभी निरंतर जारी है । प्रत्येक बीतते दिन के साथ, मुझे अपने साथी और जिस दुनिया में हम रहते हैं उसके प्रति अपार ज़िम्मेदारी के एहसास की याद दिलाती रहती है।
किसान के रूप में अरुण श्रीवास्तव
छोटी उम्र से ही मैं खुद को खेतों की ओर आकर्षित पाता था, खेती के नैसर्गिक स्वरुप में अपने परिवार के साथ शामिल होने के लिए उत्सुक रहता था। धरती को जोतना, बीज बोना और फसलों की देखभाल करना केवल कामकाज से कहीं अधिक हो गया; वे प्रेम और भक्ति के कार्य बन गए। प्रत्येक गुजरते मौसम के साथ, उपजाऊ धरती से जीवन को उभरते देखने की संतुष्टि से, कृषि के प्रति मेरा जुनून बढ़ता गया।चूँकि मैंने अपने माता-पिता और दादा-दादी के साथ काम किया, इसलिए मैंने इस भूमि से अमूल्य शिक्षाएँ प्राप्त कीं। मैंने फसलों की निरंतर वृद्धि से धैर्य, तूफानों और सूखे के मौसम से लचीलापन और प्रकृति की अप्रत्याशितता से विनम्रता सीखी। इन अनुभवों ने मुझमें सभी जीवित चीजों के अंतर्संबंध के प्रति गहरा सम्मान और प्रबंधन और स्थिरता के महत्व में गहरा विश्वास पैदा किया।
एक किसान के रूप में अपने अनुभवों से प्रेरित होकर और सकारात्मक बदलाव लाने की इच्छा से प्रेरित होकर, मैंने ग्रामीण समुदायों के अधिकारों और कल्याण की वकालत करना शुरू कर दिया। मैंने प्रत्यक्ष रूप से किसानों के सामने आने वाली चुनौतियों को देखा - भूमि क्षरण से लेकर संसाधनों तक पहुंच की कमी तक - और बेजुबानों की आवाज बनने के लिए दृढ़ संकल्पित हो गया। जमीनी स्तर पर आयोजन, सामुदायिक सशक्तिकरण और वकालत प्रयासों के माध्यम से, मैंने प्रणालीगत अन्याय को दूर करने और टिकाऊ कृषि प्रथाओं को बढ़ावा देने की कोशिश की।
ग्रामीण लोंगों के लिए एक वकील के रूप में मेरी यात्रा ने मुझे नीति निर्माताओं, कार्यकर्ताओं और साथी किसानों के साथ जुड़ने के लिए प्रेरित किया। मैंने रैलियों में भाग लिया, नीतिगत सुधारों की पैरवी की और अपना ज्ञान और अनुभव दूसरों के साथ साझा किया। चाहे वह भूमि अधिकारों की वकालत करना हो, टिकाऊ कृषि तकनीकों का समर्थन करना हो, या छोटे किसानों की दुर्दशा के बारे में जागरूकता बढ़ाना हो, मैं उद्देश्य की गहरी भावना और सामाजिक न्याय के प्रति प्रतिबद्धता से प्रेरित था। मेरी दृष्टि एक ऐसे भविष्य की है जहां सभी किसानों को आगे बढ़ने के लिए आवश्यक संसाधनों, सहायता और अवसरों तक पहुंच प्राप्त हो। एक ऐसा भविष्य जहां भूमि की देखभाल और सम्मान किया जाएगा, और ग्रामीण समुदायों को सम्मान और समृद्धि का जीवन जीने के लिए सशक्त बनाया जाएगा। जैसा कि मैं आशा के बीज बोना और बदलाव की वकालत करना जारी रखता हूं, मैं उस भूमि के प्रति गहरी कृतज्ञता की भावना के साथ ऐसा करता हूं
